Arrival in Japan - Cherry blossoms

We arrived in Japan, and are staying in Tokyo for a few days before going on to Yokohama. The cherry blossom season is in full bloom, and we got to go to Ueno park and see some of the festivities. In the photo to the left, people are setting up tarps for their cherry blossom parties.

Our daughter, Laurea, loves the cherry blossoms and has been picking them since arrival.

Laurea says that she loves playing in Japan, at this indoor playground run by Tokyo's municipal government. Here she is wearing a kimono at an area you can pretend to be in a traditional Japanese house.
